Tour and explore

1st day: Milan
Arrival at the airport. Welcome of the group and transfer to the hotel.  Free time.  In the evening welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour with a short briefing. Dinner and  accommodation.

2nd day: Milan
Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of the city. Visiting the square of the Dome, Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II and the theater La Scala, one of the most celebrated in the world. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.

3rd day: Bologna - Florence
Breakfast and then departure to Bologna, one of Italy's most important art cities. Visit this fascinating medieval town with its charming squares Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Nettuno. Proceed to Florence. Rest of day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

4th day: Florence
Breakfast.  Guided walking tour in one of the most famous cities in the world. Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John, the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing "David" by Michelangelo, and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan church with Cimabue's famous crucifix. Time free for lunch. Free afternoon in Florence to relax, walk across the famous  Ponte Vecchio or go bargain hunting in Florence’s famous open-air market  “il Mercato di San Lorenzo”. Dinner and accommodation.

5th day: Siena - Orvieto - Rome
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Siena. This monumental and medieval city is encircled by its ancient walls and is famous for its splendid square " Piazza del Campo ". This is the site of the famous Palio, traditional  medieval horse race, locals  are dressed in 15th-century costumes. See also the Palazzo Pubblico and the Duomo, one of the most beautiful in Italy.  Time free for  lunch.  In the afternoon departure to  Orvieto and stop for an orientation tour of the city,  in symbiosis with the tuff cliff on which it stands, it is an extraordinary example of the integration of nature by the work of man.   Continue on to Rome. Dinner and accommodation..

6th day: Rome
Breakfast. Full day guided visit  of the Vatican Museums: the Tapestry Gallery, the Raphael Rooms, the Sistine Chapel and the vatican Library. Then visit to St. Peter's Basilica, housing the Pietà by Michelangelo. Free time for lunch.. In the afternoon, guided walk through the baroque Rome visiting the most beautiful squares of the city: via del Tritone, Piazza Barberini, Pantheon, the best preserved pagan temple of the ancient period, Piazza Navona, one of the more fancy squares of Rome with Bernini's magnificent Four River fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and the famous Trevi Fountain, renowned not only for its imposing beauty, but also because of the "Three coins in a Fountain". Dinner and accommodation.


7th day: Rome - Naples - Sorrente
After breakfast leaving Rome along the Highway of the Sun, crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania to Naples. On arrival in Naples, city tour including Mergellina, the Castle Dell'Ovo,  Caracciolo Avenue and the Santa Lucia neighborhood. Time free for  lunch. After driving along the coastal road proceed to Sorrento a jewel of the Sorrentine Peninsula, famous for the cultivation of oranges, lemons and olives. Dinner and accommodation.

8th day: Capri
Breakfast. Full day excursion to the island of Capri. Transfer to the port to board the boat to Capri. Guided tour of the magic island. In Anacapri, the town situated in a more mountainous area it is possible to visit the Villa of the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe. Lunch in a restaurant, followed by a guided walk leading from the little Piazza to Augustus’ gardens with its breathtaking view of the Faraglioni and the wild south coast of the island. It may be possible to visit the famous Blue Grotto (weather conditions permitting). In the afternoon return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

9th day: Amalfi - Pompei
After breakfast, departure for the Amalfitan Coast. Short stops at the Belvedere of Positano and other lovely spots to admire the breathtaking panorama of an absolutely unique coastline. Arriving in Amalfi. visit the  Cathedral with its cloister. Continuation  to Pompei. Lunch in restaurant.  Visit of the  best preserved ancient Roman city which was buried under the ashes of nearby Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and rediscovered in the 18th century. Return to Sorrento. Rest of day at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.

10th day:  Assisi - Perugia
Brekfast at hotel. Departure for Assisi, mystical town of St. Francis and St. Claire still surrounded by ancient walls. City tour including a visit to the Basilica, housing important series of frescoes from Giotto and Cimabue. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon proceed to Perugia, capital  of the Umbria region. Rest of day at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.

11th day: Perugia - San Marino
Breakfast at hotel . Time at leisure to walk around or to visit the National Gallery. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon proceed to San Marino, the world's smallest and oldest independent Republic, founded in the year 301, as a Christian sanctuary, it has its own currency, stamps and preserves its political system. Dinner and overnight.

12th day: San Marino - Ferrara - Padua - Venice
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Ferrara. It was an important medieval centre and one of the most opulent courts of the Renaissance,  has been entered by UNESCO in the World Heritage List. Guided visit. Free time for lunch, then continue to Padua to visit  the famous Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello's "Gattamelata”. Arrival to Venice, the city of gondolas. Rest of day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

13th day: Venice
Breakfast at hotel and a guided walk  in this unique  and mysterious city built on  islands, visiting the Piazza and Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Time free for  lunch.  Afternoon time at leisure to walk around or go for a gondola ride on the canals. Dinner and accommodation.

14th day: Venice - Verona - Lake of Garda - Milan
Breakfast at hotel and departure for the romantic city of Verona, immortalized by Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet,” with its  world famous roman amphitheater which is one of the best arenas for Opera in Italy. Visit of the evocative square of Herbs and the imposing tombs of the Scaligeri family. After the visit, departure for Milan, passing through Lake Garda, panoramic views. Dinner and accommodation.

15th day: Milan
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport, according with the flight departure time.
